My amazing first invite to London Fashion Week also landed me a ticket to see the new young talent at the Vauxhall Fashion Scout, where a handful of la creme-de-la-creme new designers can showcase their new range in the hall next to the fashion hall.
One designer duo that caught my eye was MASC – Damian Shaw and Billy Yick,. MASC is a womenswear label that has debuted with amazing success at London and Paris fashion weeks.
Damian was super friendly and excitedly chatted through his beautiful AW 2012 collection, Shadow Box, and their inspirations of armouring the body with chic minimalism using Oriental and geometric influences in its designs. Think lots of draping and structured silhouettes.
The fabrics, particularly the coats, were thick and luscious.

This is their 2nd exquisitely polished collection, that is all made in their London studio.
