This morning a woke up to my son’s cries at 6 am.. luckily my dear husband treated me to a nice ‘sleep in’ until 8.15 am.. what a lovely Mother’s Day present!!!
My son also gave me his very first personally made Mother’s Day card (with the help of the lovely girls at his childcare) – it was so sweet having my son give me his card with his hand drawings and with his cheeky smile…
That smile just melts my heart away!
(I got two yummy heart shaped scones as well as a lovely photo of my son which I’ll be putting on my desk at work 😉 & beautiful bunch of my favourite flowers.. oriental lillies)
What can I say about mother’s day.. well, this being my second year celebrating as a mum it just reminds me of how truly blessed I am to be honoured of this amazing experience, responsibility and all the emotional rewards that comes with being a mum.
I say this time and time again but it’s so very true.. being a mum is like falling in love every day. 🙂
