Watson x Watson SS12 collection highlights |

I had the pleasure of meeting one half of the sibling design duo, Liberty Watson, who designs with her sister Somer for their label Watson x Watson at Australian Fashion Week. Beautiful and bubbly, Liberty kindly met with me on the last day of Fashion Week (and very much past bubblies o’clock I might add!) to talk about potential collaborations with J’adorais. They had showcased their beautiful SS12 collection earlier in the weekend at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, and their debut Fashion Week presentation was a hit on the runway.

Their SS12 ready to wear collection of unique and wearable designs provide an effortless chic look that would suit most women’s wardrobes. The collection featured versatile designs for the working woman, oversized jackets in crisp white and nude colours. I loved their fun and floral jumpsuits (yes, I am a big jumpsuit fan), and clean designs for sports wear in block colours (whites, blues).

I loved this pale pink jumpsuit with tapered pants – this was one of my favourite designs – like the rest of the collection beautiful, feminine and tailored to your strong independent woman.
