Well, it’s finally happened, my fabulous sister & European Fashion Director, Janice has finally arrived in Sydney! HURRAY! She’s been based in London for the last six years and on the rare occasions makes her way down under to visit (last time she was here was over 1.5 years ago!) It’s been a busy weekend showing this European jetsetter all the fun this city has to offer.. from the fun bars to the beautiful food.. to the beautiful coastline and sunshine..
The weekend with drinks in my neighbourhood.. just before arriving at our first destination for the night we were crossing Oxford St and walked past the one and only “fashion stylist, TV presenter and UK presenter” Gok Kwan crossing Oxford St with Crown St!!! 😉 I couldn’t hide my surprised look when I saw him! 😉 He was looking fabulous in dark tight tapered trousers and a smoking jacket – Gok gave me a smile! 😉 How I would have loved to have interviewed him for J’adorais.. next time maybe!! Apparently he’s down under for doing a lot of work with Westfield!
After that celebrity spotting we headed for cocktails at one of my fave locals, Pocket bar..
Followed by a scrumptious dinner at modern Eastern European restaurant Food Society (i’ll give a more detailed review at a later post) and then more drinks around Darlinghurst..
It was a thoroughly FUN night!! The head definitely hurt the next day..
