Singaporean born designer Ashley Isham launched his line in 2000 after studying pattern cutting at the London College of Fashion and starting (but never finishing) a further degree at North London’s Middlesex University.
His SS13 collection is a mammoth collection with multiple elements, starting with 60s inspired geometric prints, then Grecian like draping, beautiful flower print separates and dresses and finishing with beautiful structured lace detailing.
I loved so many dresses of his collection but was taken back a little by how skinny the models were, which to me detracted from the beautiful gowns. The models were beautifully styled with Grace Kelly like hair do’s, bright coral lips and fresh eyes.
