“Ebony & Ivory” perfect Monochrome Classics

For someone who usually loves to wear bright colours, I have surprised myself at my latest craze for the monochrome look.  There is something about the simplicity of the black & white that makes it a timeless classic.  It’s an effortlessly chic look that can be worn all year round, regardless of season, and you don’t have to worry about wearing colours or patterns that don’t compliment each other.

Like the famous song by Stevie Wonder “Ebony & ivory” live together in perfect harmony” well, black & white make the perfect partnership, working together harmoniously.

I fell in love with the black wide-leg pants by Willow below, they are so comfortable & elegant, and with the high-waist, it also made my legs look longer (yay!) :).

It’s always good to complete the monochrome look with a pop of colour, mine was paired this wine-colour patent Burberry clutch.IMG_7279

If you’re looking for some classic black wide leg pants there is a great range available from Witchery, Country Road, Camilla & Marc to Dion Lee (see below, prices ranging from $149 to $490).

For an effortless chic style, try the monochrome look. We love a timeless Classic.
