Warm Winter Shearling

Apologies J’adorais has been quietly ‘hibernating’ for the last few weeks, as I was off visiting family in Adelaide.

I’m so glad that I checked the weather forecast before packing my bags, I left a wet & rainy Sydney to arrive to a wet and  even colder Adelaide weather, a lot cooler than usual for May.  Luckily I took my heaviest knitwear & as well as a Burberry shearling jacket that I used to wear in the colder months in London.  They sure came in handy & kept me nice and warm!

One of my favourite things to do whilst in Adelaide is to go for day trips and visit the beautiful wineries surrounding Adelaide. The vineyards were particularly picturesque with their golden autumn leaves amongst the lush green grass & rolling hills.  My first stop was the beautiful Shaw & Smith winery in the Adelaide Hills, near Hahndorf.

Besides rugging up in winter, what better way to keep warm then some fine wine & cheese tasting, with beautiful views of Adelaide Hills?

So, cheers, to a beautiful (& hopefully not too cold winter!).  And if the layers aren’t enough.. maybe have a fine glass of red to warm you up!
