Lace it up

One of the benefits of the cold winter weather is it gives us the chance to layer up.  You may have seen from my previous posts that this autumn-winter season we’ve been layering up with warm knits, leather jackets & shearling coats.  In winter it’s also time for your feet to get dressed up in statement boots, and there is nothing more statement than a pair of lace-up knee-high boots.

We’ve seen them on the International catwalks, from Pucci’s SS15 collection

Lace & tweed combined with studded lace up boots, who would have thought of combining these textures?

How beautiful are these cream coloured lace-up boots below.

I love this pale blue power-suit with matching fur-trim coat, combined with the very feminine cream leather boots.

Love this great knit & skirt combination.

Alexander Wang’s sporty-luxe lace up look Resort 2015 featured flat lace up boots in leather and suede.

In keeping with this season’s trends I decided to bring my lace-up boots out, combined below with some casual denim jeans & cropped suede jacket.
