I LOVE Spring.
The start of spring is one of my favourite times of the year, when we farewell the cold winter, and welcome the colourful flowers in bloom, marking the start of the warmer sunshiny days.

In fashion, the start of Spring is also that exciting time when we get to put away our knits and layers and find our favourite light & colourful dresses (& the time to expose our legs to the sun again, hurrah! ;).
It is timely that at the moment, just as we start to enjoy the spring season in the Southern Hemisphere, we are also loving the images of the beautiful Spring Summer collections being showcased at New York Fashion Week (NYFW) this week.
One of favourite established Australian brands Zimmermann (by our beloved sister duo Nicky & Simone Zimmermann) has come back to NYFW with another jaw-dropping Spring Summer (SS16) collection, featuring feminine lace silhouettes, crochet dresses, in pastel pinks and violet colours.

After seeing the stunning SS16 collection on the NYFW runway, I decided to bring out one of my favourite Zimmermann floral dresses from her last SS15 collection from my wardrobe. A soft floral print silk dress, in delicate pink and baby blue flowers, so very feminine & lightweight, I just can’t resist the urge to do a twirl in it.
