Fashion Stylists at Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival

If you love Australian Fashion but haven’t had the fortune of scoring an invite to attend the fashion shows at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, I’ll let you in on fashion’s best kept ‘secret’ – check out the Mercedez-Benz Fashion Festival Syndey (MBFSS).  The MBFSS is held annually at Sydney’s Town Hall, a chance for fashion-lovers to check out all the highlights of the fashion shows by our favourite Australian designers, and best of all, without having to deal with all the queues and madness of Fashion Week.

I had the privilege of attending MBFW at Carriageworks earlier this year representing J’adorais, and enjoyed re-living the fabulous highlights of fashion week and more at the recent MBFFS.  I was accompanied by three fabulous ladies, fellow Fashion Stylists, the Style Dr’s, Kash, Jo & our talented fashion photographer Carolin.

The MBFFS is a great way to preview the upcoming season’s collections, and is usually held just before all the designs showcased at Fashion Week finally hits our stores.  It was great to see the highlights from our talented pool of Australian designers, we pre-booked our tickets to the fashion show and even got front row seats, sitting amongst the who’s who of the fashion world.

A champagne after party and a chance to rub shoulders with our favourite fashionistas & models, including Lindy Klim and Coco Rocha.

Earlier that day I also had a chance to attend a very insightful talk, “Powering Digital Insights”, understanding the digital customer journey, with great guest speakers including Oroton’s Creative Director, Ana Maria Escoba (who I also had the pleasure of meeting), and Global Marketing Managers of Facebook.  I definitely got some great insights for J’adorais and also met some great designers at the event. Watch this space!

Well, it was definitely a thoroughly enjoyable fashion-filled day & night out, I’d recommend any fashion-lover to book yourself tickets to the next Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival, and enjoy a night of fashion and bubblies. What a treat! 😉

Wishing you a great week ahead!

xx J’adorais
