On a Sunday afternoon, I can think of nothing better than sitting by the beach, enjoying the company of friends & family and a nice glass of wine…
I’ve walked past the St Kilda Baths many times before, but have never stopped in, until this Sunday we decided to meet a friend at Republica for a drink or two.. Great location, right by the beach, you can sit down relax outside and watch the passers by.
If you are feeling like a bit of live music, there is a band that plays every Sunday afternoon in the courtyard at Republica. The band plays the perfect repertoire of chilled Sunday music, from Norah Jones to Duffy.
If you are feeling like a bite to eat, Republica also offers a varied menu of Australian dishes, European and Asian dishes – from fish & chips to risottos, lambs and steaks. The dishes coming out of the kitchen did look very appetizing, but as I had a very large brunch we stuck to our lovely merlot.
Republica St Kilda Beach, definitely a great spot for a chilled Sunday afternoon by the beach. We ♥ relaxing Sundays on the beach.
